Parade Assembly Plan/ Map
The assembly area spans West Market Street from New Street to Bradford Ave. Please note that the cross streets in this footprint will remain open to vehicles traveling north and south (stop signs are at each intersection, no turns onto Market Street). Please be VERY careful when crossing intersections to reach your assembly area. There will be volunteers at these intersections to assist.
Parade entries with a float/vehicle that goes down the parade route should enter the assembly area at the intersection of West Market Street and Bradford Avenue. For GPS purposes use 1 South Bradford Avenue. Upon checking in with the parade marshal at the entrance to the assembly area, you will be directed to find the traffic “cone” marked with your entry number in the assembly area.
Arrival times for elements are purposely staggered. We ask that you arrive at the times provided.
All Vehicle Operators should review the following Vehicle Operator Safety Acknowledgement Prior to operating a vehicle in the West Chester Christmas Parade.
The most up to date information on Parade Parking, Street Closures etc. will be on our primary Christmas Parade Page that is available to the public - CLICK HERE to see details. As a reminder streets begin to close around 3pm on Friday December 5th - use caution when coming into the staging area & moving throughout town.
