Saturdays, 3:00pm: Santa on The Fire Truck sponsored by Tolsdorf Oil Lube Express. Every Saturday Santa will be escorted through the streets of downtown West Chester by our friends from First WC Fire Co.

Friday, December 2nd, Time 6:30 Tree Lighting, 7:00pm Parade: The West Chester Christmas Parade! The re-imagining of our beloved Christmas Parade! Parade-goers can also expect a focus on all things local, from award-winning floats with local flare by some of Chester County’s most creative designers, to sparkling performances by hometown favorites including nationally recognized marching bands that are exclusively local. Santa has agreed to make his much-anticipated appearance. Adam Joseph of 6abc Action News is returning to be our parade emcee!

Friday, December 2nd 4:00pm - 8:00pm & 3rd 10:00am-5:00pm, The Chester County Art Association - Christkindlmarkt. CCAA welcomes families and people of all ages to experience holiday magic this December as the organization holds its third annual Christkindlmarkt. This holiday market will feature 45 stall holders offering individually handcrafted and locally designed products. The event is free to the public and held at the Chester County Art Association (100 N. Bradford Ave. West Chester, PA 19382). Visit HERE for more information.

Friday, December 2nd, 6:15pm-8:30pm: FREE hot chocolate and cookies for all parade watchers at S&T Bank - 2 N. Church Street. S&T Bank will also have a small gift for all children!

Saturday, December 3rd, Time Noon-1:00pm: Little Lincolns Gettysburg Address Competition at the Historic Courthouse Steps on High Street. Middle school students from across the county put on their best Lincoln attire and recite the Gettysburg Address. This event encourages youth to become more involved their community and more deeply appreciate local history. This program is presented by The Chester County Community Foundation.

Saturday, December 3rd, 4:30pm-6:30pm: Santa at the Square! The borough of West Chester will host pictures with Santa at Marshall Square Park!

Friday, December 9th, 3:30pm-4:30pm: Santa will visit S&T Bank at their 2 N. Church Street branch! Stop by to say hello to Santa and enjoy downtown West Chester!

Sunday, December 18th, 10:00am-Noon: Touch-A-Truck! In the parking lot located on the corner of Chestnut and Church Streets in downtown West Chester. Ambulance, police and West Chester Fire Department Trucks along with some construction vehicles. Meet the firefighters, get hands-on with a firetruck and more. This event is being led by the West Chester Business Improvement District!

Mid-November - Early January: The installation and display of the 25 ft. Christmas Tree on the lawn of the Historic Courthouse. The tree lighting will take place before the start of the parade on Friday, December 2nd. See weekend information above.

November 26th-January 2nd: The return of the Delphi Wealth Management Professional Gingerbread House Competition! Professional builders include: Cakes and Candies by Maryellen, Carlino's, John Serock Catering, Kilwins West Chester, Yori's Church Street Bakery and the 2021 winner, The Master's Baker! Nov 30th - Dec 23rd - Theatre is back at Uptown Knauer Performing Arts Center! This holiday season, join them for an original, funny and heartfelt retelling of the Nativity story. WEST CHESTER, PA – October 12, 2022 – The Greater West Chester Chamber of Commerce is offering up a unique opportunity for inside access to Chester County’s most popular hometown Christmas parade. Organizers of the West Chester Christmas Parade need almost 90 Parade Marshals, and all get the closest front-row seats available as they line the eight-block parade route on Friday, December 2.

WEST CHESTER, PA – April 26, 2022 – After a two-year hiatus due to the pandemic, the Greater West Chester Chamber of Commerce is announcing the return of the West Chester Christmas Parade as part of Chester County Hospital Lights Up Holiday Weekends in West Chester. The Chamber Board unanimously approved the planning of the parade on Tuesday.
