Greater West Chester Chamber of Commerce Ambassadors are comprised of members who volunteer to serve as the "extended staff" of the Chamber. Ambassadors welcome new Chamber members, serve as greeters at events and volunteer in various other ways. The Chamber could not function the way we do, without the help of our amazing Ambassadors!
The member journey goes far beyond the first few months. As a way to focus on member connection, market research and attendance/retention we have added a new committee to the GWCC chamber! Members of the Member Engagement Committee, "connectors," works with the ambassadors to assist on the membership journey!
Within your first few months of membership a member of our Ambassador Committee will contact you to help with onboarding! This long standing committee is very much an extension of our chamber staff! We could not do our jobs without their continuous help!

More on the ~New~ Member Engagement Committee:
Member Connection: Our volunteers are identified as “connectors” at events allowing all attendees to use them as a jumping off point to meet new people. Connectors are available to listen to your ideas, help you meet new people and feel comfortable at our events, and serve as your voice to the Chamber. Look for the connector sticker on their name tags. They may also proactively reach out from time to time to help you maximize your membership by identifying topics and events of interest or providing insights on how to get more of your team involved. Market Research: We work to develop processes for input from our membership so that each Committee of the Chamber receives up to date information around what matters to the GWCC membership. From programming requests to improvements in our ways of working, this committee collects, distributes, and helps integrate your needs. Attendance & Retention: As a committee, we monitor attendance data and retention rates to help marry metrics with the quantitative and qualitative feedback we get firsthand from our members to ensure that we have the full picture for our leadership team.
